Born in Turku (Finland) in 1977, grew up and lives in Berlin. His first formative encounters with music came at the age of eight through violin lessons and orchestral performances, followed a few years later by the guitar, which remains his most important instrument to this day. This was followed by training as a sound engineer and sound designer. Since 2005 he has worked continuously as a theater musician and composer with Jette Steckel in Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Vienna.
