Sharon Dodua Otoo

Sharon Dodua Otoo is a writer and political activist. She won the 2016 Ingeborg Bachmann Prize for her text Herr Gröttrup setzt sich hin. Her debut novel, Adas Raum, was published in 2021 by S. Fischer Verlag and has been translated into several languages. In collaboration with the Ruhrfestspiele and together with author Patricia Eckermann, she curated the Black International Literature Festival Resonanzen in 2024. Sharon Dodua Otoo is currently an Honorary Fellow at the Villa Aurora in Los Angeles, USA.
