Anne Lenk

Anne Lenk first studied applied theater studies in Giessen and then theater directing at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. After working in Augsburg, Munich, Bochum, Aachen and Nuremberg, as well as detours to the Vienna Burgtheater and Schauspielhaus Graz in Austria, she regularly directs at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schauspiel Hannover and the Thalia Theater Hamburg. She has also worked as a lecturer at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Berlin University of the Arts and the Hamburg Theater Academy and has served on several juries, including the Heidelberg Stückemarkt, the Körber Studio Junge Regie, the Mülheim Drama Prize and the Schauspielschultreffen. Anne Lenk has received several awards as a director and for her productions, including two invitations to the Berlin Theatertreffen, the Friedrich Luft Prize and invitations to the Mülheim Theater Days and the Autor*innentheatertage. From 2025/26, she will be part of the management team of the new artistic director Sonja Anders at the Thalia Theater Hamburg.
