Caroline Peters

Caroline Peters, born in Mainz in 1971, studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Saarbrücken. During her final year, she was already engaged by Andrea Breth at the Berlin Schaubühne. This was followed by engagements at numerous German-speaking theaters in Hamburg, Cologne and Zurich, at the Berlin Volksbühne and at the Burgtheater in Vienna. Caroline Peters is also known from numerous film and television productions and has received many awards, including the Adolf Grimme Prize (2007), the Ulrich Wildgruber Prize (2012) and the Bavarian Television Prize (2013). In 2016, she was honored with the German Acting Award for “Best Actress in a Comedic Role” and in 2018 and 2020 with the Nestroy Theater Award. In 2016 and 2018, she was named “Actress of the Year” by the trade magazine Theater heute.
