Born in Karlsruhe. Studied theatre studies and modern German literature at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. He was assistant director at the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin. He has worked as a dramaturge at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and Münchner Volkstheater with directors including Anne Lenk, Jan Bosse, Lilja Rupprecht, Christian Stückl and Brit Bartkowiak. In the 24/25 season, he was co-head dramaturge and deputy artistic director at the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
