Mikki Levy-Strasser graduated in scenography from the Zurich University of the Arts in 2014. Before and after his studies, he assisted in stage and costume design at Theater Neumarkt and Theater Basel in a wide variety of productions. He has been working as a freelance stage and costume designer since 2017. Together with Laura Koerfer, he founded the off-space Hyperlokal, in which various theatrical and performative formats were explored.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, he was part of the Corona-Stage Max Frisch Bad by Maison du Futur, in which cultural participation in the lockdowns of the Corona pandemic was tested in various formats. In ever new constellations, he developed theatre projects such as the big question of Goldtiger, which won Premio in 2020, or as part of Stick Around, he created plays such as Niemand ist eine Insel im Alten Krematorium Sihlfeld or #byebitch, a classroom play by Schauspielhaus Zürich. Since 2022, he has been working on projects with young people together with junge Marie and AG Theater Rämibühl.
In addition to theatre, he has also been involved in various festivals such as the Lila Queer Festival at the Rote Fabrik Zurich and the Alpodrom Festival in Interlaken.
