"Zürcher Gespräche" with David Chipperfield and Lukas Bärfuss

"Zürcher Gespräche” is a regular series of talks on current affairs, philosophy, and politics, alternately hosted by communications expert Miriam Meckel, author Lukas Bärfuss and philosopher Stefan Zweifel.

When Lukas Bärfuss and David Chipperfield discuss the latter’s design for the Kunsthaus extension, the finished shell will be just a few yards away. The building will be completed by 2020 and is set to become a landmark on Heimplatz. The author and architect will discuss the relationship between architecture’s local impact and international reach, the rapport between architecture and the art it houses, and the interaction of such buildings with other structures in heart of a city.
