The Afro-German cosmopolitan, author, nutritionist, diversity trainer and mother Chantal-Fleur Sandjon has been invited to the Schauspielhaus Zürich with her novel Die Sonne, so strahlend und Schwarz. The verse novel tells the story of 17-year-old Nova Nyanyoh in Berlin, her first love, domestic violence, family cohesion, coming out as a lesbian, racism and friendship. It is a moving and poetic coming-of-age novel that allows us to bear the difficulties of life through its beauty and lightness.
Directly after the staged reading with Dena Abay and Deborah Macauley, there will be a discussion with the author Chantal-Fleur Sandjon, Nina Kunz and Miriam Ibrahim.
