Manuela Runge works in theatre and dance based in Zurich. Since graduating in theatre pedagogy in 2007 and further training as a dance pedagogue in 2015, she has worked with various cultural institutions, including the Schauspielhaus Zürich, Museum Haus Konstruktiv, Tanzhaus Zürich, Kunsthaus Zürich, as well as with children and young people in different educational institutions. In her work in communication for art, she connects the arts such as dance, theatre and performance with people's lives and explores the possibilities of her own artistic expression. At the Tanzhaus Zürich, Manuela Runge has been running a mixed abled DanceAbility group since 2017 and initiates inclusive dance projects with her association TANZflug. Manuela Runge is committed to inclusive culture and cultural participation for all people. As a member of the board of assitej - the international association of children's and youth theatre - she works on networking and strengthening children's and youth theatre at national and international level and is actively involved in Blickfelder Festival - Arts for a Young Audience, promoting interdisciplinary art and cultural offerings for young people in Zurich. Since 2020, she has been co-head of theatre pedagogy and responsible for the area of theatre & school.
