Niels Bormann was born in 1973 in Germany and grew up with a North German dialect. Standing at a height of 1.89 m, with brown-green eyes and red-blond hair, he stood out from an early age. His passion for rowing and his vocal range in baritone and bass are just some facets of his versatility.
His career spans various films, including Toni Erdmann (2014) by Maren Ade and Futur Drei (2018) by Faraz Shariat, as well as television productions such as Deutschland 83 (2014) and Deutschland 89 - Die Mauer fällt (2019). His theater work has taken him to renowned stages such as the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, the Schaubühne Berlin, and the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin.
He completed his education from 1996 to 2000 at the Universität der Künste Berlin, where he further developed his passion and talent for the art of acting. His place of residence remains Berlin to this day, where he continues his versatile artistic career.
