Since graduating in 2017, Maximilian Reichert has worked primarily in contexts between theater and visual art. Formative works were created with Romeo Castellucci, Mike Bouchet for Azzedine Alaia, Alexander Giesche and Cuqui Jerez. In 2016 he created In Limbo - A Documentary Landscape About the Archaeology of the Highway Rest Stop for the Ruhrtriennale. In 2017 he conceived le cri du lapin for the far festival in Nyon. He has made guest appearances in productions at Theater Basel, Art Basel, the Festival d'Automne in Paris, the Salzburg Festival, and the Münchner Kammerspiele. In addition to his activities at the theater, he participates in radio play productions. He is the recipient of the Max Reinhardt Award of the German-speaking drama schools. He has been a permanent ensemble member of the Schauspielhaus Zürich since the 2019/20 season. With Alexander Giesche's production Der Mensch erscheint im Holozän, he was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen in 2020.
