Born in Hamburg, he gained his first acting experience as a child in productions at the Malersaal of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus and in the musical DER KÖNIG DER LÖWEN. He studied law in Birmingham and Oxford, and acting in Potsdam. In 2019, he joined the Schauspielhaus Zürich for his first engagement. Steven Sowah received the Götz George Young Talent Award in 2020 for his performance in DRECK and continues to appear in front of the camera in various productions.
