Anna Toni Vyshnyakova

Anna Toni Vyshnyakova, born in 1992 in Ukraine, studied Costume Design at the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles and the Berlin University of the Arts, where she earned her Master’s degree in Performing Arts with distinction.

She has a longstanding collaboration with artist Izidoral l. Lethe. Anna Toni designed costumes for performances such as Apropositions (part of the exhibition Apropos Hodler at Kunsthaus Zürich) and Peristyle, presented at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco.

Additional costume designs include Über Wunden at Fabrik Theater Zürich (directed by Yanna Rügger), the short film Medusa (directed by Arina Chernova, DFFB), and Keeping the Gates (directed by Carolin Bodensteiner, ZHDK).

During her studies, Anna Toni assisted in various opera and theater productions, including Rigoletto by Philipp Stölzl (Bregenz Festival), Der Idiot by Vasily Barkhatov (Theater an der Wien), Blutstück by Leonie Böhm, and Carmen by Wu Tsang at Schauspielhaus Zürich, where she is currently working as a design assistant.
