Malin Speicher studied Fine Arts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris. During her final study period, she joined the stage design class of Professor Lena Newton, graduating as a master student.
Malin Speicher pursues an artistic practice focused on sculpture, performance, and publications, with contributions to institutions such as FFT Düsseldorf, the Julia Stoschek Collection, the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum in Krefeld, and the Festival Theater der Welt.
As a stage designer, she has collaborated with Meine Damen und Herren/SKART and Masters of the Universe at Kampnagel Hamburg, with Ingo Toben and the artistic team at FFT Düsseldorf, and with the collective _vielleicht regen at Tanzhaus NRW.
Malin Speicher gained experience as an assistant at Theater Bonn and Schauspiel Köln. Since the 2024/25 season, she has been a resident stage design assistant at Schauspielhaus Zürich.
