The director and playwright Bonn Park, born in 1987 in West Berlin, began studying Scenic Writing at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2010 while also presenting his first works at Volksbühne Berlin. His world premiere DREI MILLIARDEN SCHWESTERN (2018 at Volksbühne Berlin) was awarded the Friedrich Luft Prize. In the Theater heute critics' survey, Bonn Park was named Young Director of the Year 2019.
He writes and directs his plays at venues such as Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg (DIE RÄUBER DER HERZEN, based on Friedrich Schiller), Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus (KEINE SORGE (RELIGION)), and Schauspiel Frankfurt (THEY THEM OKOCHA). As a director and writer, he is also active internationally, with his works JUGOJUGOSLAWIJA and 사랑 II / LIEBE II being staged in Serbia and South Korea, respectively.
