Samuel Wiese, born in Berlin, began his artistic career as a sound and video technician at the Centraltheater Leipzig in 2012 and 2013. During this time, he was responsible for the sound design of Alexander Eisenach's production Heart of Darkness and the live video editing for Sebastian Hartmann's The Great March.
In 2014, he shifted his focus to DJing and electronic music, further deepening his expertise through studies in sound engineering and sound design from 2017 to 2018.
Continuing his collaboration with Sebastian Hartmann, he contributed to projects such as Crime and Punishment and Noises Off + X at Staatsschauspiel Dresden, as well as a streaming version of The Magic Mountain at Deutsches Theater Berlin, which was invited to the 2021 Theatertreffen.
In 2024, he opened the Berlinale as a live act and was responsible for the musical design and sound design of Boris Dewjatkin’s short film Stadtmuseum / Moi Rai, which was selected for the Berlinale Shorts. Together with Philipp Johann Thimm, he composed the soundtrack for the Amazon Prime series Dinner Club.
