Dominic Huber (*1972) Since studying architecture at ETH Zurich, he has created numerous stage spaces in Zurich, Basel, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Vienna, Brussels and Lausanne, as well as exhibition projects. He regularly collaborates with Bernhard Mikeska, Lola Arias, Sebastian Nübling and Toshiki Okada. His own performative installations have been shown in theaters as well as on location in New York, Zurich, Berlin, Buenos Aires and Jerusalem. Dominic Huber has been working with Stefan Kaegi and Rimini Protokoll since 2008. He regularly teaches at the Zurich University of the Arts. With Situation Rooms (Rimini Protokoll) as well as The Vacuum Cleaner and Doughnuts (directed by Toshiki Okada), three projects in which he was involved were invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen. In 2019, Dominic Huber received the Swiss Theater Prize from the Federal Office of Culture. He has worked continuously at the junges theater basel since NOISE 2015. His last work at Theater Basel was DÄMONEN 2023.
