Ursula Leuenberger, born in Bern, worked as a costume assistant at Theater Basel from 1997-2000 after training as a dressmaker and theatrical tailor. Since then she has worked as a freelance costume designer at Theater Basel, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Schauspiel Köln, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schauspiel Hannover and junges theater basel, where she has also worked as a set designer for various productions. She regularly collaborates with Rafael Sanchez and Sebastian Nübling, for whom she recently designed the costumes for the production DÄMONEN in Basel.
