She has been awarded numerous prizes in prestigious competitions, including the Concours International d’Exécution Musicale in Geneva and the First Prize at the International Schubert Competition in Dortmund. Additionally, she was a laureate of the International Rachmaninoff Competition in Moscow.

With her diverse repertoire, she is a welcome guest at international festivals and regularly performs with leading orchestras and chamber music partners. Hideyo Harada's versatility is also reflected in her extensive discography, which includes works by Samuel Feinberg and Michio Mamiya alongside compositions by Chopin, Grieg, and Scriabin. Her recording of works by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff was featured in the "Gramophone Recommends" section of the renowned English music magazine Gramophone. Both her Schumann and Schubert albums were recognized with the "Supersonic Award" from the Luxembourg music magazine Pizzicato and were named "CD of the Month" by Stereo and Fono Forum magazines.

In addition to a multi-season Schubert cycle, which Hideyo Harada realized with renowned partners in Tokyo, contemporary music also holds a significant place in her artistic pursuits. Recordings for international radio and television broadcasters further complement her work.
