Matthias Brandt

Matthias Brandt has appeared in over 80 films and has received numerous awards for his work as an actor and voice artist. For seven years, he played the lead role of Chief Inspector in Munich's Polizeiruf 110.

In 2016, he published his first book, Raumpatrouille, followed by the novel Blackbird in 2019. In 2021, he starred in Bjarne Mädel's directorial debut, Sörensen hat Angst, and since 2022, he has appeared in the Netflix series King of Stonks, inspired by the biggest financial scandal in German history.

In Oliver Reese’s production of Max Frisch’s Mein Name sei Gantenbein at the Berliner Ensemble, he returned to the theater stage in 2021 for the first time in twenty years.
