Lorenz Häberli

Lorenz Häberli, born in 1986 in Bern, is a versatile artist working at the intersection of music, literature, and performance. After studying history in Fribourg, he devoted himself to literary writing, which he pursued further at the renowned institutions in Biel and Leipzig.

Häberli became widely known as Lo of the successful pop duo Lo & Leduc, with whom he has been performing and writing songs on Swiss stages for years—songs that have resonated far beyond national borders. In parallel, he is an active member of the creative collective Atelieer, where he collaborates with other writers to develop and perform spoken word programs.

His artistic focus is increasingly shifting toward literature. He is currently taking his first steps in the literary world, with texts that oscillate between stage presence and literary sensitivity. Most recently, he appeared at the SRF Cypher, a seven-hour livestream event featuring rappers from across Switzerland, where he performed original texts written specifically for the occasion—many of them in Swiss German.

Lorenz Häberli currently lives in Zurich with his partner.
